The turbulent flow around a vertical porous fence was simulated by using a weakly-compressible-flow computational method. A large-eddy-simulation technique together with a subgrid-scale turbulence model is applied to account for the turbulence effects in the flow. By varying the approaching flow condition and the porosity of the fence, the wake characteristics behind the fence are investigated. Results show that as the fence porosity Air Jordan 14 increases, for the mean flow condition the vortex tends to be elongated and results in a reduction of the drag on the fence. In addition, the drag force decreases with an increase of the boundary layer thickness of the approaching flow.
This paper presents a new method for detecting random-valued impulse noise (RVIN) in images. The proposed method is based on similar valued neighbor criterion and the detection of the noisy pixels Air Jordan 14 Retro are realized in maximum four phases. After the corrupted pixels detected in each phase, the median filtering is performed for Air Jordan Retro 13 only these pixels. As such, corrupted pixels are suppressed gradually at the end of the each phase. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated on different test images and compared with ten different comparison filters from the literature. It is shown from simulation results that proposed method provides a significant improvement over comparison filters.
